Stress can disrupt the functioning of an Organization if

necessary steps could not be taken to reduce it. Managing the

Stress at the workplace is essential as it could affect both the

mental and physical health of the employees.

There are many ways to cope with the Stress at the workplace.

Every Leader is having a lot of work and responsibilities on a

regular basis which could result in Stress in the Organization.

So, the Leader should know different ways by which the

Stress could be managed at the workplace.

#Encourages Two-Way Communication

All the employees in the Organization must understand the

directions given by the Leader and similarly the Business

Leader must also be able to understand the needs of all the

members in the Team at the workplace. The Leader should

listen to their issues, ideas and the ways which could be

helpful in improving the working environment.

In this way it will assist in maintaining the proper work

balance and there will be minimal chances of Stress among

the employees.

Communication is the

Way of sharing,

Information between

Two or more persons

#Conducting the Social Activity

By working together in the groups employees tend to spend a lot of time together so

in this way they help each other in completing the task and

due to this the Stress could be managed easily.

Leaders should conduct various recreational activities

so that the employees could feel refreshed and comfortable

at the workplace.

#Maintaining Transparency

It is the moral duty of every Leader to ensure that the correct

information is given to all the Team members at the

workplace. Periodic meetings should be conducted in order to

update the employees regarding the plans and strategies that

is being formulated and that could help in accomplishing the

goals. If Leader will inform the employees well in advance

then they will not get Stress at the time of facing that situation

and will find a productive solution to resolve that issue at the

workplace.

Don’t take the Stress

For those things,

Which You could not

Be changed

Clear and effective communication is among the most vital qualities of a strong, and successful leader. Good communication skills enable them to build trust and respect among their followers and peers while fostering environments where creative ideas and problem-solving flourish with better understanding.

This can be better understood with a story below:

‘Tickle Me Elmo' is a children's toy that starts laughing when tickled under the arm. Legend has a new employee that is hired at the Tickle Me Elmo factory and she duly reports for her first day's induction training, before being allocated a job on the production line.

The next day, an excited assembly line foreman visits the personnel manager who is not pleased with the performance of the recruit. The foreman explains that she is extremely slow causing the entire line to back up, delaying the whole production schedule. The personnel manager along with him proceeds to the factory floor to find the issue.

On the arrival, they see that the line is badly backed up; there are dozens of ‘Tickle Me Elmos’ strewn all over the factory floor, still piling up. Virtually buried in a heap of toys the new employee is seen focused on her work. Besides her, she has a roll of red plush fabric and a bag of marbles. The two men were amazed to watch as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around a pair of marbles, and carefully begins to sew the little package between Elmo's legs.

Watching this, the personnel manager begins to laugh as he approaches the trainee. "I'm sorry," he says to her, unable to disguise his amusement, "I think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday.... Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles."

Conversely, poor communication results in organizational chaos and a lack of true leadership. It also leads to poor relationships with employees and peers, resentment, and perhaps even the loss of your position. It not only harms the organization but also your future progress.

Here are some tips to follow to be a Successful Business Leader:

Avoid Lack of Clarity

A lack of clarity can lead to unclear messages that will frustrate you, your employees, and your organization. Rather, make sure to communicate organizational goals to your employees and be clear about what you are trying to say. Don’t ever leave anyone hanging.

  • No Office Bullying

Using harsh words to belittle, threaten, intimidate, and micromanage employees creates a hostile work environment and destroys your leadership potential. Words have power and using them for ill builds an unhealthy organizational environment.

  • Strictly avoid Lying and Stealing Credit

A strong, effective leader with good communication skills will take time to appreciate the work their employees have done and give them credit. Unfortunately, there are too many poor leaders who are happy to steal the glory and keep it all for themselves. To achieve your true leadership potential, be honest and give credit to others where credit is due.

  • Don’t give Untimely Information

Don’t wait until the last minute to tell your employees of deadlines or provide them with other important information to perform their jobs or fulfill roles and responsibilities. Your employees need time to prepare for assignments and deadlines - failing can lead to anger and stress.
