I can never forget this, It was in Rev Omar Pela's Church.

He told a story of how on a particular morning,

his wife stormed into d room with a moody look on her face. Being a gentleman, he asked, Sweetheart what's wrong? She said, Nothing!

(U know when a lady tells u..nothing. irk!).

So He impressed further, U don't sound fine dear.. She replied, I said I'm fine! He said at that moment he tried to replay in his head, if

there was any misunderstanding previously. He couldn't remember any. So, not to cause any

tension at all he decided to continue his study in church office.

As he picked the car keys to leave, the wife blurted.. So you are going to leave without showing concern or care?

He said at that point he was angry & shouted. Did I not ask you? Wat else do u want me to do. So he slammed the door and left.

On getting to the car downstairs, about to start the car.. The Holy spirit asked him, if someone

passes by now and mistakenly hit his leg on a stone, what would you say? He replied, I will tell the person sorry.

The Holy spirit asked again, did

u cause d person to hit his/her leg on the stone?

He said No! Then why would u say sorry for what u didn't cause?

He said instantly he got d message d Holy Spirit was trying to pass across.

That u don't have to be d cause to say Sorry.

So he got back upstairs, his wife looking at him angrily..

Then he said, Sweetheart I'm sorry.

She just wrapped her arm around him and sobs.

What a wonder! He said he was left speechless and wondering..

My Father was a #CivilServant ...Papa made it a point that his field visits incorporated travelling and learning for us..so he took us along. This happened somewhere in 90's during one of his postings in Moradabad. Weekends was #WorkTravel for him and #funtravel for us.It was August and was raining. We were headed to #Haridwar. The whole family, Driver and a TI(traffic Inspector)all were decked up in one ambassador..🚗🚗🚗


Haridwar was some 30kms far now, when it started to rain..there was visible heavy downpour on the mountains..and the #FlashRiver called #RAPTA started flowing...🌊🌊


When it rains on mountains the water 🌊🌊 in voracious..turbulent..terrible form comes  roaring down on roads...🌀🌀🌀

In less than an hour there exists no sign of road..there is a 4feet deep and more than 24 feet in breath Roaring River gushing down eating all what comes in its way...trees..boulders..cars..🍃🍃🍃

It can exist for few hours or for a day depending upon how long the rain persists.🏞️🏞️🏞️

By now there was huge traffic lined up on either sides..so we probably couldn't go back and Papa had some urgent work to complete in Haridwar. Few took risk and dared to plunge in the ferocious River..

First a JEEP slowly crossed it...then went in a TOURIST BUS🚌🚌🚌.. Finally my father decided we'll also cross it..🌬️🌬️


Our AMBASSADOR dived in too..It slowly manouvered cutting the terrific current..just as it reached the mid of the breath ,the engines ceased...😨😨😨


As compared to  Jeep and the Bus...engines of Ambassador are placed at low height..so water got into it..

Plus the water amount in the river was increasing every minute...🌀🌀


Panic and Fear engulfed US...The current started pushing the Car 🚗🚗 towards the #trough...All elders jumped out and pushed the car..to no avail..😭😭

The Car kept sliding ...still ready to go down any moment..😨😨


The tourists of the 🚌 bus who had successfully crossed the River, came to our rescue ...

Shouting "Har har Mahadev".......

And  now Twenties pushed the Car successfully out of the #FlashRiver...


VOILA ...We were ALIVE..😪😪


Life just like this journey ..

is full of crests n troughs...

turbulence n peace..

A moment we Exist..n... other we dont..🍃🍃
