एक कभी न भूलने वाला अनुभव....
"ओये कैशियर, मेरे को नए नए नोट चाहिये नहीं तो मारूंगी इसी डण्डे से...!"
नहीं नहीं.... ये कोई अभद्र भाषा नहीं है किसी ग्राहक की,ये शब्द तो हैं उस प्रेम और दुलार के जो एक लगभग 80 वर्षीया माता जो अपनी पेंशन लेने हमारी शाखा में आती थीं, महीने में एक बार।
अपनी डंडी के सहारे धीरे धीरे शाखा में प्रवेश करते ही वो हमेशा यही शब्द बोलती थीं और शाखा के सारे स्टाफ के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ जाती थी। सारे स्टाफ से हाल चाल पूछना प्रेम से सबके सर पर हाथ रखकर आशीर्वाद देना उनके व्यवहार की खूबसूरती थी, स्टाफ भी बिल्कुल परिवार के सदस्य की तरह सेवा करता था उनकी।
उनका व्यवहार इतना प्रेम भरा था कि जब भी आतीं कभी फल,समोसे या फिर मिठाई सारे स्टाफ के लिए लातीं और कैशियर भी महीने भर से सँजो सँजो कर कहीं न कहीं से उनके लिये नई करेंसी का इंतजाम कर ही लेता था।
आखिरी बार वो शाखा में मार्च 2020 में आयीं थीं,पेंशन आयी नहीं थी तो सारे स्टाफ ने चुपचाप कुछ पैसे इकट्ठे करके दे दिये कि अभी आप काम चलाओ, पेंशन थोड़ी कम आई है इसबार।
जाते समय जबरदस्ती मुझे पाँचसौ का नोट पकड़ा दिया "ले बच्चों के लिये मिठाई ले जाना"
जब मैंने प्रतिरोध किया तो डंडा उठा के बोलीं "तेरे बच्चे मेरे बच्चे नहीं हैं?"
"बता मारूँ डंडा?"
मैंने चीफ मैनेजर को जब सारा प्रकरण बताया तो उन्होंने हंसते हुए कहा,"चुपचाप ये पैसे उनके खाते में जमा कर देना और कह देना कि बैंक ने ब्याज दिया है"
फिर जेब से पांच सौ रुपये और निकाल कर दिये कि शाम को स्टाफ के लिए रिफ्रेशमेंट मंगा लेना।
एक साल हो गया, ना तो अब उनके खाते में पेंशन आ रही है ना वो खुद आईं, क्योंकि उनका खाता किसी दूसरे शहर का था फ़ोन रखती नहीं थीं
इसलिए संपर्क भी नहीं हो पाया।
ईश्वर करे जहाँ भी हों स्वस्थ हों।
आज भी सारा स्टाफ उनका इंतजार करता है कि वो अभी आएंगी और डंडा लहराकर फिर से मुस्कान बरसा देंगी।....🙏🙏
