When I was a young child, I was very selfish, always wanted the best for myself

When I was a young child, I was very selfish, always wanted the best for myself. Gradually, everyone left me and I had no friends. I did not feel that it was my fault and I used to criticize others.

My father taught me 3 things to help me in life.

One day, my father cooked 2 bowls of noodles, put 2 bowls on the table. One bowl had one egg on top and the other bowl had no egg on top.

He said, "My child." Which bowl do you want ”. It was hard to get eggs in those days! Eggs were found to be eaten only during festivals or the New Year.

Of course I took an egg bowl. As we started eating. I was congratulating myself on my wise choice / decision and bursting eggs.

I was surprised when my father ate his noodles, there were two eggs in his bowl under the noodles!

I regret so much! And was calling himself bad for being too hasty in his decision.

My father smilingly said to me, "My child. You must remember that what your eyes see is not necessarily true.

If you intend to take only from people, then only defeat and regret will come in your hands! "

The next day, my father again cooked 2 bowls of noodles: one egg in the same way in the top of the bowl and the other on top of which there was no egg.

Then, they put both bowls on the table and said to me, "My children, you choose, which bowl do you want?"

This time I showed my intelligence and chose a bowl with no eggs.

I was shocked, when I looked at the noodles apart, there was not a single egg in the bottom of the bowl!

Again my father smiled and said to me, "My child, you should not always rely on experiences because sometimes, in life you can be deceived by it.

But you should not be too angry or sad, just consider it as a lesson learned. You cannot learn it from textbooks.

On the third day, my father baked 2 bowls of noodles again, then one egg was on top and there was no egg on the other.

He placed both bowls on the table and again said to me, "My children, you choose, which bowl do you want?".

This time, I told my father, "Dad, you choose first." You are the head of the family and you also contribute the most to the family.

My father accepted this and opted for an egg bowl. As I was eating noodles in my bowl, I knew that there was no egg in my bowl.

But, I was very surprised that there were two eggs in the bottom of my bowl.

My father smiled sweetly in my eyes and said, "My children, you must remember, when you think for the good of others, it will always be well with you."

I always remember these 3 things of my father and take all my decisions accordingly. And this is why I am a successful person today.

Do tell this story to your children and if possible, you should also do the same test.
