भारत में कुल 4120 MLA और 462 MLC हैं अर्थात कुल 4,582 विधायक।
__
प्रति विधायक वेतन भत्ता मिला कर प्रति माह 2 लाख का खर्च होता है। अर्थात
__
91 करोड़ 64 लाख रुपया प्रति माह। इस हिसाब से प्रति वर्ष लगभ 1100 करोड़ रूपये।
__
भारत में लोकसभा और राज्यसभा को मिलाकर कुल 776 सांसद हैं।
__
इन सांसदों को वेतन भत्ता मिला कर प्रति माह 5 लाख दिया जाता है।
__
अर्थात कुल सांसदों का वेतन प्रति माह 38 करोड़ 80 लाख है। और हर वर्ष इन सांसदों को 465 करोड़ 60 लाख रुपया वेतन भत्ता में दिया जाता है।
__
अर्थात भारत के विधायकों और सांसदों के पीछे भारत का प्रति वर्ष 15 अरब 65 करोड़ 60 लाख रूपये खर्च होता है।
__
ये तो सिर्फ इनके मूल वेतन भत्ते की बात हुई। इनके आवास, रहने, खाने, यात्रा भत्ता, इलाज, विदेशी सैर सपाटा आदि का का खर्च भी लगभग इतना ही है।
__
अर्थात लगभग 30 अरब रूपये खर्च होता है इन विधायकों और सांसदों पर।
__
अब गौर कीजिए इनके सुरक्षा में तैनात सुरक्षाकर्मियों के वेतन पर।
__
एक विधायक को दो बॉडीगार्ड और एक सेक्शन हाउस गार्ड यानी कम से कम 5 पुलिसकर्मी और यानी कुल 7 पुलिसकर्मी की सुरक्षा मिलती है।
___
7 पुलिस का वेतन लगभग (25,000 रूपये प्रति माह की दर से) 1 लाख 75 हजार रूपये होता है।
__
इस हिसाब से 4582 विधायकों की सुरक्षा का सालाना खर्च 9 अरब 62 करोड़ 22 लाख प्रति वर्ष है।
__
इसी प्रकार सांसदों के सुरक्षा पर प्रति वर्ष 164 करोड़ रूपये खर्च होते हैं।
__
Z श्रेणी की सुरक्षा प्राप्त नेता, मंत्रियों, मुख्यमंत्रियों, प्रधानमंत्री की सुरक्षा के लिए लगभग 16000 जवान अलग से तैनात हैं।
__
जिन पर सालाना कुल खर्च लगभग 776 करोड़ रुपया बैठता है।

इस प्रकार सत्ताधीन नेताओं की सुरक्षा पर हर वर्ष लगभग 20 अरब रूपये खर्च होते हैं।

अर्थात हर वर्ष नेताओं पर कम से कम 50 अरब रूपये खर्च होते हैं।

इन खर्चों में राज्यपाल, भूतपूर्व नेताओं के पेंशन, पार्टी के नेता, पार्टी अध्यक्ष , उनकी सुरक्षा आदि का खर्च शामिल नहीं है।

यदि उसे भी जोड़ा जाए तो कुल खर्च लगभग 100 अरब रुपया हो जायेगा।
__
अब सोचिये हम प्रति वर्ष नेताओं पर 100 अरब रूपये से भी अधिक खर्च करते हैं, बदले में गरीब लोगों को क्या मिलता है ?
क्या यही है लोकतंत्र ?
(यह 100 अरब रुपया हम भारत वासियों से ही टैक्स के रूप में वसूला गया होता है।)

Every MLA's wage is spent on two lakh rupees per month. To wit

In India, there are 776 MPs in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha together.

These MPs are given salary allowance of Rs 5 lakh per month.

That means the salary of the total MPs is 38 million and 80 million per month. And every year these MPs are given salary allowance of 465 crores 60 lakhs.

That means behind India's legislators and MPs, India is spending 15 billion and 65 million rupees per year.
__
It's just a matter of their basic salary allowance. The cost of their accommodation, living, food, travel allowance, treatment, foreign tourism etc is also almost the same.

That is, about 30 billion rupees is spent on these MLAs and MPs.
__
Now, look at the salaries of security personnel posted in their security.
__
A legislator gets protection of two bodyguards and one section house guard i.e. at least 5 policemen and i.e. total 7 policemen.
___
7 The salary of the police is approximately Rs. 1 lakh 75 thousand rupees (at the rate of Rs. 25,000 per month).
__
Accordingly, the annual expenditure on security of 4582 legislators is 9, 62, 22, 22 lakh per annum.
__
Similarly, Rs. 164 crores per year is spent on the safety of MPs.
__
About 16,000 soldiers are deployed separately for the security of Z category security, ministers, chief ministers, prime minister.
__
On which the total annual expenditure is about Rs 776 crores.
___
Thus, about 20 billion rupees are spent every year on the security of the underprivileged leaders.
They
That is, every year the leaders spend at least 50 billion rupees.
They
These expenses do not include the expenses of the Governor, the ex-leader's pension, party leader, party president, his security etc.

If it is added then the total expenditure will be around 100 billion rupees.
__
Now think we spend more than 100 billion rupees per year on leaders, what is the poor people in return?
Is this the democracy?
(This is 100 billion rupees, we have been charged as tax by Indians.)

→ first - ban on election campaign
Promote only through Television (TV)
→ Second - ban on leaders' salary allowances
