What is Mindful Leadership

Mindful Leadership means being able to look at yourself honestly and ask these questions on a regular basis. It also means trying to lead without arrogance and being willing to put the interests of others before your own. If you want to grow into a thought leader, here are five traits you should pay attention to.

#leading by example:

A conscious leader should not expect others to do things that he is unwilling to do. Otherwise, there will be a disconnect between leadership and the workforce. This can lead to a gradual decline in trust. People in leadership positions should be aware that their behavior and attitude will affect the culture of the organization and the people who work under them.

a) Appreciation and Recognition:

Pay is good but not always enough. Individuals need appreciation and recognition on a regular basis for their hard work. Regular praise is especially important to balance the more critical feedback that a leader sometimes needs to provide. A worker who is appreciated and properly recognized will be more engaged and more likely to not develop a wandering eye.

b) Leading With Humility:

Humility is not a sign of weakness or lack of confidence. According to Ken Blanchard, "Humility does not mean thinking less of oneself, it means thinking less of oneself." A humble leader is able to recognize his strengths and weaknesses and is not afraid to ask for help when needed. Leading with humility means that leaders are open to receiving feedback and will not only blame the workforce, but are able to see their own shortcomings if the company's goals are not being met.

c) Communicating with Compassion:

We know how powerful words can be, and it is important for leaders to be able to communicate thoughtfully and in compassionate ways. Be aware of your feelings before answering emails or communicating in person. Take the time to consider whether the communication you are going to communicate is honest and beneficial. It may not always be possible to meet these criteria, however if we take the time to be as thoughtful as possible, communication is more likely to result in a positive outcome.

d) Balanced Emotions:

Practicing regular mindfulness meditation can help a person get in touch with their feelings and emotions and become aware of when they may be upset or angry. This can be useful as our schedule gets hectic and hectic. Mindfulness gives us that moment of pause and peace to reflect on our actions and behavior so that we don't act out of emotion and do something we may regret. It can help us improve our emotional intelligence, which allows us to understand the other person's point of view and be more empathetic to their needs and concerns.

Mindfulness will not magically help us develop these qualities. It helps to put us in the right frame of mind so that we can become more aware of our thoughts, feelings, speech and behaviour. The more we become aware of these things, the more we will be able to control them and not be controlled by them.

एक जागरूक नेता को दूसरों से उन चीजों की अपेक्षा नहीं करनी चाहिए जो वह करने को तैयार नहीं है। अन्यथा, नेतृत्व और कार्यबल के बीच एक डिस्कनेक्ट होगा। यह धीरे-धीरे भरोसे में गिरावट का कारण बन सकता है। नेतृत्व के पदों पर बैठे लोगों को पता होना चाहिए कि उनका व्यवहार और रवैया संगठन की संस्कृति और उनके अधीन काम करने वाले लोगों को प्रभावित करेगा।

ए) प्रशंसा और मान्यता:

तनख्वाह अच्छी है लेकिन हमेशा पर्याप्त नहीं होती है। व्यक्तियों को उनकी कड़ी मेहनत के लिए नियमित आधार पर सराहना और पहचान की आवश्यकता होती है। अधिक महत्वपूर्ण प्रतिक्रिया को संतुलित करने के लिए नियमित रूप से प्रशंसा विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण है जो एक नेता को कभी-कभी प्रदान करने की आवश्यकता होती है। जिस कार्यकर्ता की सराहना की जाती है और ठीक से पहचाना जाता है, वह अधिक व्यस्त होगा और इस बात की अधिक संभावना है कि वे भटकती हुई आंख विकसित नहीं करेंगे।

बी) विनम्रता के साथ अग्रणी:

विनम्रता कमजोरी या आत्मविश्वास की कमी का संकेत नहीं है। केन ब्लैंचर्ड के अनुसार, "विनम्रता का अर्थ अपने बारे में कम सोचना नहीं है, इसका अर्थ है अपने बारे में कम सोचना।" एक विनम्र नेता अपनी ताकत और कमजोरियों को पहचानने में सक्षम होता है और जरूरत पड़ने पर मदद मांगने से नहीं डरता। विनम्रता के साथ नेतृत्व करने का मतलब है कि नेता प्रतिक्रिया प्राप्त करने के लिए खुले हैं और न केवल कार्यबल को दोष देंगे, बल्कि कंपनी के लक्ष्यों को पूरा नहीं करने पर अपनी कमियों को देखने में सक्षम हैं।

ग) करुणा के साथ संचार करना:

हम जानते हैं कि शब्द कितने प्रभावशाली हो सकते हैं, और नेताओं के लिए यह महत्वपूर्ण है कि वे सोच-समझकर और करुणामय तरीके से संवाद करने में सक्षम हों। ईमेल का जवाब देने या व्यक्तिगत रूप से संवाद करने से पहले अपनी भावनाओं से अवगत रहें। यह विचार करने के लिए समय निकालें कि क्या आप जो संचार करने जा रहे हैं वह ईमानदार और लाभकारी है। इन मानदंडों को पूरा करना हमेशा संभव नहीं हो सकता है, हालांकि अगर हमने जितना संभव हो सके विचारशील होने के लिए समय निकाला है, तो संचार से सकारात्मक परिणाम की अधिक संभावना है।

घ) संतुलित भावनाएँ:

नियमित माइंडफुलनेस मेडिटेशन अभ्यास करने से व्यक्ति को अपनी भावनाओं और भावनाओं के संपर्क में आने में मदद मिल सकती है और जब वे परेशान या क्रोधित हो सकते हैं तो जागरूक हो सकते हैं। यह उपयोगी हो सकता है क्योंकि हमारा कार्यक्रम व्यस्त और व्यस्त हो जाता है। दिमागीपन हमें अपने कार्यों और व्यवहार पर प्रतिबिंबित करने के लिए विराम और शांति का वह क्षण देता है ताकि हम भावना से कार्य न करें और कुछ ऐसा करें जिससे हमें पछतावा हो। यह हमारी भावनात्मक बुद्धिमत्ता को बेहतर बनाने में हमारी मदद कर सकता है, जो हमें दूसरे व्यक्ति के दृष्टिकोण को समझने और उनकी जरूरतों और चिंताओं के प्रति अधिक सहानुभूति रखने की अनुमति देता है।

Know What You’re Looking For 

Building a stellar team starts with identifying what you and your business truly need in the candidate that you’re after.

What skills and attributes are necessary to be an effective salesperson? 

Here are a few qualities that the world’s most successful salespeople have in common.

  • Listening Skills - To satisfy your client, you must know what they need. The best way to learn this is through conversation. Engaging with your client and listening carefully to their responses will help you determine what they are seeking.

  • Product Knowledge - Regardless of what your team is selling, they need to know the ins and outs of offering products and services. Your sales team will need to be able to answer any questions a client may ask.

  • Confidence - For a client to make a purchase, they need to trust that your product or service will solve a problem for them. If the salesperson can display confidence in what they are selling, the client is more likely to be on board.

I can never forget this, It was in Rev Omar Pela's Church.

He told a story of how on a particular morning,

his wife stormed into d room with a moody look on her face. Being a gentleman, he asked, Sweetheart what's wrong? She said, Nothing!

(U know when a lady tells u..nothing. irk!).

So He impressed further, U don't sound fine dear.. She replied, I said I'm fine! He said at that moment he tried to replay in his head, if

there was any misunderstanding previously. He couldn't remember any. So, not to cause any

tension at all he decided to continue his study in church office.

As he picked the car keys to leave, the wife blurted.. So you are going to leave without showing concern or care?

He said at that point he was angry & shouted. Did I not ask you? Wat else do u want me to do. So he slammed the door and left.

On getting to the car downstairs, about to start the car.. The Holy spirit asked him, if someone

passes by now and mistakenly hit his leg on a stone, what would you say? He replied, I will tell the person sorry.

The Holy spirit asked again, did

u cause d person to hit his/her leg on the stone?

He said No! Then why would u say sorry for what u didn't cause?

He said instantly he got d message d Holy Spirit was trying to pass across.

That u don't have to be d cause to say Sorry.

So he got back upstairs, his wife looking at him angrily..
