GoIndiGo Airlines Ltd to Lay Off 10% of its workforce: CEO Ronojoy Dutta

IndiGo, India’s private Airlines, has announced today to lay off 10% of its workforce due to COVID-19 pandemic, CEO Ronojoy Dutta said.

“From where things stand currently, it is impossible for our company to fly through this economic storm without making some sacrifices, in order to sustain our business operations,” Dutta said in a statement.

“Therefore, after carefully assessing and reviewing all possible scenarios, it is clear that we will need to bid a painful adieu to 10% of our workforce. It is for the first time in the history of IndiGo that we have undertaken such a painful measure,” he added.

As on March 31, 2019, the airline had 23,500 employees on its payroll.

India resumed domestic passenger flights from May 25 after a gap of two months due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the airlines have been allowed to operate only a maximum of 45 percent of their pre-COVID domestic flights. The occupancy rate in Indian domestic flights has been around 50-60 per cent since May 25.

दत्ता ने एक बयान में कहा, "जहां से चीजें वर्तमान में खड़ी हैं, हमारी कंपनी के लिए कुछ आर्थिक बलिदान किए बिना इस आर्थिक तूफान से उड़ना असंभव है।"

“इसलिए, सभी संभावित परिदृश्यों का सावधानीपूर्वक आकलन और समीक्षा करने के बाद, यह स्पष्ट है कि हमें अपने कार्यबल के 10% तक एक दर्दनाक एडीयू की बोली लगाने की आवश्यकता होगी। यह इंडिगो के इतिहास में पहली बार है कि हमने ऐसा दर्दनाक उपाय किया है।

31 मार्च 2019 तक एयरलाइन के पास 23,500 कर्मचारी थे।

भारत ने कोरोनावायरस महामारी के कारण दो महीने के अंतराल के बाद 25 मई से घरेलू यात्री उड़ानों को फिर से शुरू किया। हालांकि, एयरलाइंस को अपनी पूर्व-कोविद की घरेलू उड़ानों में अधिकतम 45 प्रतिशत का संचालन करने की अनुमति दी गई है। 25 मई से भारतीय घरेलू उड़ानों में अधिभोग दर लगभग 50-60 प्रतिशत है।

Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian actor , actor , Entrepreneur and philanthropist.
As he gave back to back hit movies as he entered the Bollywood industry and earned a lot of respect , love , money. He was an inspiration for our generation, youngsters used to follow him by considering him as an idol but yet he committed suicide.
It sounds quite strange , but not weird.
Mumbai is just not a city for those who come their to fulfill their desires but it is a city which consists of a large number of crowded people who are still searching how to fulfill their ambitions.
Mumbai is a city where millions of people visit every year with a mindset of achieving something great in their life and shine. Those who are already established try to make it more better.
Today nobody is satisfied in what they have they just want "more" to live their life according to themselves.
There is no end to this lust because everybody is in a race to get more.
Regardless of the economic circumstances of Sushant , he was in better position than 95% of the people in the country. What they do not have was not just satisfaction, neither the courage to fight their life. This is what happens with cinematic heroes.
If life becomes a little opposite they lose their hopes and they give up.
Example of a legend Amitabh Bachchan breaks down on the four stones of Raj Thackeray and starts apologizing.
Every celebrity has lots of responsibilities because for many of them they are their idols people follow them.
But if they take any wrong decision, then also their mistake becomes an argument in favor of making mistakes for many people.
So making a decision of committing suicide is one of the disgusting act in the world. No matter how good an actor or a person he was but in the end he did something so worst which has changed everybody's thinking.
Whatever might he was going through but making such a decision was absolutely not acceptable.
Being defeated in life is not new for humans. It has been happening in every age. When people seems life is becoming difficult they think of running away rather than to face it with bravery.
Earlier people use to run away from their homes and go to the shelter of religion and become saint. But now it is not so. People reject religion in the pretense of bogus intellectualism, then when they feel life is becoming more stressful there is no other way to face it so they opt for suicide. The same has happened with Sushant.
He is not the first suicidal in this Bollywood industry but now every month we get hear about people committing suicide. Like earlier Jiya, Pratyusha , Sushant.
Sushant's pretext, but the lifestyle of Mumabi should be discussed that why people are committing suicide.
No matter how ugly our life is, but surely it is prettier than death. There are many people around us who are still living their lives in difficult times even they are surviving.
Life is very beautiful if lived that way just the way we live and treat things that should be good.
Sushant may you be liberated ,but suicide was not worthy of reverence.

मुम्बई एक शहर का नाम नहीं, अधूरी महत्वकांक्षाओ की बहुत बड़ी भीड़ का नाम है। वहाँ हर साल लाखों लोग चमकने जाते हैं। जो चमक रहे हैं वे और अधिक चमकने का प्रयास करते हैं। यहाँ कोई अपनी दशा से संतुष्ट नहीं, सब "और अधिक" पाना चाहते हैं। इस हवस का कोई अंत नहीं...

सुशांत के आर्थिक हालात कैसे भी रहे हों, पर वे देश की 95% जनता से अच्छी स्थिति में थे। क्या नहीं था उनके पास... बस संतुष्टि नहीं थी, जीवन से लड़ने का साहस नहीं था। सिनेमाई नायकों से साथ यही होता है। जीवन थोड़ा सा विपरीत हो जाय तो हार मान लेते हैं। वहाँ अमिताभ बच्चन जैसा महानायक राज ठाकरे के चार पत्थरों पर ही टूट कर माफी मांगने लगता है।

किसी भी प्रसिद्ध व्यक्ति की जिम्मेवारी बड़ी होती है। उनको असँख्य लोग फॉलो करते हैं, आदर्श मानते हैं। वे यदि कोई गलत निर्णय लें तो उनकी गलती भी कइयों के लिए गलती करने के पक्ष में तर्क बन जाती है। फिर आत्महत्या तो शायद संसार का सबसे घृणित कर्म है। सुशांत कितने भी अच्छे अभिनेता रहे हों, उन्होंने अंत में अत्यंत घिनौनी और कायरतापूर्ण प्रस्तुति दी है।

मनुष्य के लिए जीवन से पराजित होना नया नहीं है, हर युग में ऐसा होता रहा है। जीवन जब बहुत कठिन हो जाय तो लोग सांसारिक झंझटों से दूर भागते रहे हैं। पहले लोग ऐसी दशा में घर से भाग कर धर्म की शरण में चले जाते थे, साधु हो जाते थे। पर अब ऐसा नहीं है। फर्जी बुद्धिजीविता के ढोंग में लोग धर्म को नकार देते हैं, फिर जब जीवन भारी पड़ता है तो आत्महत्या के अतिरिक्त कोई दूसरा मार्ग नहीं दिखता। सुशांत के साथ भी यही हुआ है।
सुशांत सिनेमाई संसार के पहले आत्महत्यारे नहीं हैं, अब हर महीने दो महीने पर कोई स्टार आत्महत्या कर ही लेता है। जिया, प्रत्युषा, सुशांत... सुशांत के बहाने ही सही, पर मुम्बइया शैली के जीवन की कुरूपता पर चर्चा होनी ही चाहिए। जो जीवनशैली सबकुछ होते हुए भी आत्महत्या की ओर ढकेल दे, वह सुन्दर नहीं है।

जीवन कितना भी कुरूप क्यों न हो, मृत्यु की अपेक्षा सुन्दर ही होता है। हमारे आपके आसपास ऐसे असँख्य लोग हैं जिनका जीवन अत्यंत कठिन है। फिर भी वे जी रहे हैं। जिन्दगी बहुत खूबसूरत है, बस जीने का ढंग बढ़िया होना चाहिए।

जाइये सुशांत। आपको मुक्ति मिले... वैसे आत्महत्या श्रद्धा के योग्य नहीं

On the flip side of that coin is that it’s also really easy to see when you’ve screwed up. For two reasons, this is a good thing. The first is that it’s nearly impossible to slack off to. The second reason is that because failure is easier to notice, you’ll make sure to eliminate mistakes in order to avoid disappointing your colleagues. Stay focused, start-up employee, and your successes will be recognized and your failures minimized. And when the rest of the team says “We couldn’t have done it without you,” you can be confident that they mean it.

6. You’ll work in an awesome atmosphere

Let me count the ways:

I wear jeans to work. In the summer, I wear shorts and sandals.
If there isn’t at least one really good joke in an hour, it’s probably a slow day.
Everyone else who works at a start-up has the same drive and excitement for creation as you do.

7. You’ll learn to be frugal

Working at a start-up probably means that money is tight. Whether you’ve been showered with investor love or the founder has a really wealthy uncle, the company will still be thinking of ways to do more with less. Instead, the business development intern will learn how to design and code the blog, the writer will sometimes do the dishes, and at the start you’ll find a way to fit nine people around an eight person table (hint: extra chair). This frugality and monetary responsibility will undoubtedly bleed into your own life as well, and you’ll end up finding new ways to find fulfilment

other than burning the money you earn. Instead, you’ll probably discover a joy in creating and doing, rather than consuming. You’ll find happiness in being part of a team that is trying to make other people’s lives easier, more fun, and more manageable. In the start-up world, it’s all about creating more and consuming less (this does not apply to Thai food or burritos).

8. You’ll be instilled with the value of hard work, ownership, and self-sustainability

Maybe more important than any other benefit of working at a start-up is the realization that hard work, creative thinking, and tenacity are worth a whole lot. Once you’ve created something of your own, something tangible and whole, something you can touch, feel, or use, you really begin to appreciate personal ownership. For those who do not actively create, or are continuously creating for someone else’s benefit, it’s difficult to understand the great importance of personal ownership and the liberty needed to pursue that ownership. Working at a start-up and spreading the news of your team’s product, a product that you helped bring into existence, instils the value of that ownership and gives you pride in your work. It is this pride, in your team’s hard-work and ability, that teaches you the importance of protecting those who do create innovative solutions and take risks.

Working at a start-up also means that you and your small team are the only people responsible for your success. For some, that may trigger a response to go crawl into a corner and hope someone comes and spoon-feeds them their paycheck. For others, it’s the greatest motivation there is. To be cut off from relying on others to provide for you will undoubtedly surface skills and a determination that you didn’t know you had. At a start-up, that natural wish to be self-sustainable is magnified and multiplied, triggering the do-or-die attitude that is often the difference between success and failure. No matter where you go after your stint at a start-up, and especially if it is to go off and create a company on your own, that need to be self-sustainable, and the skills you picked up to make that possible, will power everything that you do.

पत्रकार - इतनी हिम्मत आई कहाँ से ?
अनामिका - जब UP सरकार भृष्टाचार के लिए ही हो तो हर काम संभव है।
पत्रकार- फिर पकड़ कैसे गयीं ?
अनामिका - एक जिले बीएसए निकला वो रिटायर होने वाला है उसको लॉकडाउन में समय से पैसा नहीं दी तो उसने हरकत कर दी।
पत्रकार - क्या और जिलों मे भी ऐसी टीचर हैं ?
अनामिका - बहुत टीचर है, बीएसए हर टीचर से हर महीने 10-15 हजार लेता है अगर जिले में 500 स्कूल है तो सोच लो एक महीने मे वो कितना कमा रहा है !!
पत्रकार- बीएसए लड़कों से भी पैसे लेता है ?
अनामिका - लडकों से तो 20-20 हजार लेता है लेकिन उन लङको से नहीं लेता जो उसको लड़कियाँ सप्लाई करते हैं।
पत्रकार - क्या सारे बीएसए अय्याश हैं ?
अनामिका - 90 % बीएसए लङकियाँ इस्तेमाल करते हैं और बीएसए 10% गे है वो लङके इस्तेमाल करते हैं जिनसे पैसा नही लेते उसकी इज्जत ले लेते हैं।
पत्रकार - कोई टीचर विरोध नही करती है ?
अनामिका - सर, 35 साल नौकरी करनी होती है शिकायत करेगे तो रोज स्कूल जाना पङेगा और बच्चों को भी पढाना पङेगा।
