I Rhea Thacker belong to a conservative small and quiet town Darbhanga which belongs to Bihar. We were a happy bunch of middle class people and had very simple life ambitions. I used to live with my brother, sister, grand parents at our family house. My father and grandfather used to run the restaurant business which went by the name of “Subh Mangalam” in our city. They regularly used to take Alfa cab to reach the restaurant every morning and used to return every night at 11 AM with Alfa cab only. This is because Alfa cab is the only trusted cab service provider in our city.
Any way coming to the present day, I was leaving for my English tuitions to one of my distant relatives place who is a popular English teacher in our city. It was an evening batch and the batch was overcrowded with at least 40 plus students. Obviously majority were boys and since I was thoroughly educated in an all girls convent school and never been friends to boys. I thought in my head. My sister and brother who were elder to me also studied in the same tuition.
“I am not feeling Ok.”
Then I said to myself the next minute
“Don’t worry. This feeling will go away”.
Also gradually I started taking attention towards a boy tall, slim and quite handsome. His name was Prabhash Jha. He was a Jhajhi Bihari and a resident of Darbhanga and he also had his native roots in the city itself unlike me. All of the tuition students used to come throughAlfa Cabfor the classes.

My brother had also started his internship at Honeywell office in Mumbai. My mother was buzy in searching a suitable match for my sister. I visited my family home during Diwali and noticed that my grandfather has become quite thin. I also noticed that my father was quite irritated and he started having short temper. I felt that something is not right at my house. I shared the same with my brother and sister and we started finding reasons. I also shared the same with my boyfriend Prabhash Jha. He found out from his friends back at Darbhanga that our restaurant was not performing well because there have been quite new age cafes back at our city. And thus our restaurant was considered to be backward. My fathers debts have increased like anything. And the restaurant was on the verge of financial bankruptcy.
I shared the same with my brother Prakash Thacker and both of us decided to come back to Darbhanga and modernize the restaurant with our experience at metro cities. Our elder sister continued to work at Ranchi. We worked hard day and night and did our best to change the restaurant to a modern age budget café. We also introduced live music at our café which was the very first for our small city. Slowly and gradually we also started taking help of social media like Facebook, Instagram and even FM radio to spread the word about one of the most loved and trusted restaurants in the city. The word started to flow and people started visiting our café. I was thoroughly thrilled and now today after 4 long years of struggle and hard work, we have established the restaurant as a highly successful café in the town. We are all very happy and we have successfully paid all our debts. My father and grandfather are quite happy on our achievement. We recently got our elder sister married and that too at a very famous resort of our town.
My brother will also be soon married to his long time girlfriend Shreya Sinha. And then finally after some years I will also marry Prabhash Jha. Presently we all are enjoying our life and thanking God for everything.

एक औरत और उसका पति एक ट्रंक लिए डिब्बे में घुस पडे़। दरवाजे के पास ही औरत तो बैठ गई पर आदमी चिंतातुर खड़ा था। जानता था कि उसके पास जनरल टिकट है और ये रिज़र्वेशन डिब्बा है। टीसी को टिकट दिखाते उसने हाथ जोड़ दिए। " ये जनरल टिकट है।अगले स्टेशन पर जनरल डिब्बे में चले जाना।वरना आठ सौ की रसीद बनेगी।" कह टीसी आगे चला गया। पति-पत्नी दोनों बेटी को पहला बेटा होने पर उसे देखने जा रहे थे। सेठ ने बड़ी मुश्किल से दो दिन की छुट्टी और सात सौ रुपये एडवांस दिए थे। बीबी व लोहे की पेटी के साथ जनरल बोगी में बहुत कोशिश की पर घुस नहीं पाए थे। लाचार हो स्लिपर क्लास में आ गए थे। " साब, बीबी और सामान के साथ जनरल डिब्बे में चढ़ नहीं सकते।हम यहीं कोने में खड़े रहेंगे।बड़ी मेहरबानी होगी।" टीसी की ओर सौ का नोट बढ़ाते हुए कहा। " सौ में कुछ नहीं होता।आठ सौ निकालो वरना उतर जाओ।" " आठ सौ तो गुड्डो की डिलिवरी में भी नहीं लगे साब।नाती को देखने जा रहे हैं।गरीब लोग हैं, जाने दो न साब।" अबकि बार पत्नी ने कहा। " तो फिर ऐसा करो, चार सौ निकालो।एक की रसीद बना देता हूँ, दोनों बैठे रहो।" " ये लो साब, रसीद रहने दो।दो सौ रुपये बढ़ाते हुए आदमी बोला। " नहीं-नहीं रसीद दो बनानी ही पड़ेगी। ऊपर से आर्डर है।रसीद तो बनेगी ही। चलो, जल्दी चार सौ निकालो।वरना स्टेशन आ रहा है, उतरकर जनरल बोगी में चले जाओ।" इस बार कुछ डांटते हुए टीसी बोला। आदमी ने चार सौ रुपए ऐसे दिए मानो अपना कलेजा निकालकर दे रहा हो।
दोनों पति-पत्नी उदास रुआंसे ऐसे बैठे थे ,मानो नाती के पैदा होने पर नहीं उसके शोक में जा रहे हो। कैसे एडजस्ट करेंगे ये चार सौ रुपए? क्या वापसी की टिकट के लिए समधी से पैसे मांगना होगा? नहीं-नहीं। आखिर में पति बोला- " सौ- डेढ़ सौ तो मैं ज्यादा लाया ही था। गुड्डो के घर पैदल ही चलेंगे। शाम को खाना नहीं खायेंगे। दो सौ तो एडजस्ट हो गए। और हाँ, आते वक्त पैसिंजर से आयेंगे। सौ रूपए बचेंगे। एक दिन जरूर ज्यादा लगेगा। सेठ भी चिल्लायेगा। मगर मुन्ने के लिए सब सह लूंगा।मगर फिर भी ये तो तीन सौ ही हुए।" " ऐसा करते हैं, नाना-नानी की तरफ से जो हम सौ-सौ देनेवाले थे न, अब दोनों मिलकर सौ देंगे। हम अलग थोड़े ही हैं। हो गए न चार सौ एडजस्ट।" पत्नी के कहा। " मगर मुन्ने के कम करना...."" और पति की आँख छलक पड़ी। " मन क्यूँ भारी करते हो जी। गुड्डो जब मुन्ना को लेकर घर आयेंगी; तब दो सौ ज्यादा दे देंगे। " कहते हुए उसकी आँख भी छलक उठी। फिर आँख पोंछते हुए बोली- " अगर मुझे कहीं मोदीजी मिले तो कहूंगी-" इतने पैसों की बुलेट ट्रेन चलाने के बजाय, इतने पैसों से हर ट्रेन में चार-चार जनरल बोगी लगा दो, जिससे न तो हम जैसों को टिकट होते हुए भी जलील होना पड़े और ना ही हमारे मुन्ने के सौ रुपये कम हो।" उसकी आँख फिर छलक पड़ी। " अरी पगली, हम गरीब आदमी हैं, हमें वोट देने का तो अधिकार है, पर सलाह देने का नहीं। रो मत। (विनम्र प्रार्थना है जो भी इस कहानी को पढ़ चूका है उसे इस घटना से शायद ही इत्तिफ़ाक़ हो पर अगर ये कहानी शेयर करे ,कॉपी पेस्ट करे ,पर रुकने न दे शायद रेल मंत्रालय जनरल बोगी की भी परिस्थितियों को समझ सके। उसमे सफर करने वाला एक गरीब तबका है जिसका शोषण चिर कालीन से होता आया है। एक कोशिश परिवर्तनकीओर .......एक मध्यम परिवार से,,,,, https://www.anxietyattak.com/2019/10/please-read-and-forward.html
